When buying essential oil products it is important that any oils you buy are stored correctly.
To avoid deterioration and protect the aromatic and therapeutic properties of your essential oils, store them in amber or cobalt blue bottles.
Dark glass such as amber or cobalt helps to keep out deteriorating sunlight. It is best not to store essential oils in clear glass bottles. This will deteriorate the product and if it is mixed with a carrier oil such as Grape Seed Oil or Fractionated Coconut oil the light will cause these types of oils to go rancid.
