This is a beautiful Red Cedar Paddle made by Tlingit artist Timber Vavalis.
Timber was born and raised in Juneau, Ak and later apprenticed under master carver David Boxley for 15 years and has since been carving for over 30 years. His paintings and plaques have wide appeal and have been gifted to President George Bush.
