This print was carved into wood and printed with black and gold ink on either white or cream paper.
I have included misprints you can order. They are discounted due to printing errors (misaligning of layers and/or not fully opaque colors)
Siqiññaraaġuraq is the Iñupiaq word for sunbeam or sunshine. This piece is to celebrate the sun, presented through the halo around the woman’s head, her kakiñiq (face tattoos), and her isiġvikpagaaq (sunshine ruff).
Each print is signed, numbered, and titled. Due to the process of making a reduction print there will only ever be 14 of these prints in creation.
Since these prints are inked and pressed by hand, they are uniquely special and will have slight variations from one to the next.
